Advanced Doula Skills Training

The Maternal Health Consultant Training (MHC), a.k.a. the Advanced Doula Skills Training, was curated by Midwife Sekesa Berry to improve maternal wellness within Black communities. This training is designed to educate and empower the everyday person and community Doulas with fundamental knowledge about normal health perimeters. Whether you are a doula, lactation counselor, or simply interested in improving maternal health and wellbeing, the Maternal Health Consultant Training is a valuable resource that can help you make a difference in the lives of birthing women and families.

**Previous Doula Training is Required.

I found the sharing of personal experiences, along with what we were being taught to be the most effective because it allows us to process the information more when we have the opportunity to ask questions, share stories, and engage with everyone. Also, actively using the kit during the training.

**Previous Doula Training Recommended.

This training gave me a deeper innerstanding of health and reproductive justice. I look forward to being more active within birth work.
